StreamBet Privacy Policy

StreamBet (“we”, “the extension”) is a browser extension that surfaces Polymarket prediction markets relevant to the web page you are viewing, provides AI-generated market analysis, and lets you trade through your own crypto wallet. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles and why. We designed StreamBet to collect as little as possible.

What the extension accesses

• Page content of the tab you are viewing — the page title, headings, and main text. This is read locally and sent to the StreamBet server only to find prediction markets relevant to what you are reading. It is used to generate matches and is not stored long-term, sold, or used to build a profile of you.
• Your wallet address — only when you choose to connect a wallet (e.g. Phantom or MetaMask). It is used to display your balance and positions and to submit orders you initiate. We never have access to your private keys or seed phrase — all signing happens inside your own wallet.
• Local preferences — your selected wallet and connection state are stored locally in the browser (chrome.storage.local) so you don’t have to reconnect every time. This never leaves your device except as needed to place a trade.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your private keys, seed phrases, or passwords.
• We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or to track you across sites.
• We do not collect personal identifiers like your name or email.

Third-party services

To function, StreamBet communicates with:

• The StreamBet server — matches page content to markets, provides AI analysis, and proxies market data.
• Polymarket (gamma-api.polymarket.com, clob.polymarket.com, data-api.polymarket.com) — for live market data, prices, your positions, and order submission.
• Your wallet extension — for connecting and signing transactions you approve.

Trades are executed on Polymarket and are subject to Polymarket’s own terms and privacy policy.

Data retention

Page text is processed to return market matches and is not retained as a personal record. Wallet and preference data live in your browser’s local storage and are removed when you disconnect or uninstall the extension.

Your control

You can disconnect your wallet at any time, and you can remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the extension. The extension only acts when you open it or interact with it.
